It may seem that resolving the school list in a single physical store (usually the one suggested by the school) is the most convenient and effective solution, but in practice it proves not to be.

Physical stores experience an extreme peak in demand during the back-to-school campaign, which exceeds their ability to serve all the mothers and fathers crowded at the counters as they would like. This leads to queues, mistakes, multiple visits (one to place the order, another to collect it, another to collect what we supposedly should already have collected, and perhaps yet another). As a result, once we finally have all the books, we will easily leave the store carrying more than 10 kg of weight. It is an exhausting process.

The solution to this is buying online, which in many cases is already possible with the proposal suggested by the school itself. What neither the school nor the designated bookstore will provide is any way to know whether the prices they offer are good or bad, and comparing prices for the entire list can be a very tedious task within a mission that is already tedious in itself.
